Ministry of Health – Sharjah Medical District appreciates FrieslandCampina Middle East.
FrieslandCampina Middle East, part of Royal FrieslandCampina – one of the largest dairy-cooperative in the world and famous for its Rainbow Milk brand, has received appreciation from the Ministry of Health – Sharjah Medical District for its contribution to the dairy sector and various public activities on leading and promoting the goodness of milk.
The government endorsement follows FrieslandCampina ME’s recently-launched campaign – Eat Right, Be Active. As part of the campaign, the company emphasized the Eat Right, Be Active message through activities in various educational institutions as well as to medical professionals operating in the UAE under the patronage of the Ministry of Health, within the auspices of Sharjah Medical Zone and support of the Department of Nutrition and Medical Education.
“Sharjah Medical District is working to ensure that the importance of good health is promoted to everyone. We are happy with the efforts undertaken by FrieslandCampina ME in this healthy initiative to reach out to the community. Our appreciation of the company is aimed at jointly supporting them in similar campaigns, health programs, seminars and other related efforts,” said Dr. Maysoon Al Shaer from the UAE Ministry of Health.
