chicken liver 130 g
peri-peri sauce 150 ml
vegetable or olive oil 20 ml
Portuguese bread roll 1
Preheat the pan up to 170 degree celsius and add 20 ml of oil. Wait until the pan heats up, then add the chicken livers to the hot pan. Cover with a lid for 3-5 minutes.
Keep stirring the pan’s contents to prevent them from burning.
Once the chicken livers are soft, add the peri- peri sauce of your choice, whether mild, hot or extra-hot. Keep stirring gently.
Cook the livers for additional two minutes until the sauce comes to a boil and the livers are fully coated with the sauce.
Serve hot in a bowl with Portuguese bread rolls on the side.
