Inka Restaurant & Lounge Comes To Dubai

Good food lovers have yet another destination on their must visit list as Inka Restaurant & Lounge opened its doors on 11th October this year

Operated by Norman A. Khan, the signature restaurant “Inka” is an indigenous concept created by Tobias Gibreel. It offers an excellent Latin American culinary experience in chic art-deco surroundings. Situated on the 31st Floor of the luxurious French hotel, The Sofitel Downtown, this restaurant offers a panoramic view of “Burj Khalifa”, the world’s tallest building. The restaurant boasts of an intimate dining room that can easily seat 50 guests, with an interconnected sprawling lounge. The interiors are stylish with an eclectic collection of artwork ranging from Tamara de Lempicka to Juan Gris.

Head Chef Christian Motte, who learned his culinary skills at A Le Cordon Bleu in Lima, joins the team directly from the critically Inka-3celebrated ‘Ceviche’ in Central London. He has designed a modern Peruvian menu with signature dishes like Octopus and Quinotto Nero – grilled octopus served over quinoa risotto with squid ink and white truffle oil. Incorporating a mix of various flavours, styles and ingredients, the menu is modern yet traditional at heart. Guests can enjoy the exciting combination of flavours that are symbolic to the modern ‘Ceviche’ experience, using a range of fresh sea bass, red snapper and sea bream.

The extensive collection of handcrafted cocktails and mocktails offered by the lounge include the classics such as Cucuchaza, which is a Caipirinha with homemade infused cucumber and rose cordial. Also on offer are Inka’s own version of infused tonics such as Uva y Pimienta; Pisco acholado homemade grapefruit cordial, fresh ginger, grapes, black pepper and topped with fever tree tonic. The Inka also offers a place to unwind and hosts a live DJ in the evenings, with live music on Thursdays.
