RHomeSecrets

RHomeSecrets is a month-and-half-long festival, starting May 10th, 2015, every Sunday

It is said, that the most satisfying meal is the one prepared by a mother. Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel celebrates the magical cooking expertise of mothers with RHomeSecrets; a month-and-half-long festival, starting May 10th, 2015, every Sunday.

Secret Indian Recipe in association with Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel, will take you on a nostalgic culinary journey, reviving the ancient delicacies that have been long forgotten. For this one-of-a-kind promotion, Secret Indian Recipe has handpicked six brilliant chefs who will whip some authentic home cooked meals every Sunday, exclusively prepared for the patrons.

Every week, one expert home cook will prepare a RHomeSecrets special dish, which will be available for the guests on that week’s Sunday Brunch. The recipes launched at the festival will then be available on SecretIndianRecipe.com. The skilled chefs will showcase different flavours and legacy of the diverse Indian cuisine. These six home chefs are contributors to the website and have specialised recipes of their own. With this association Renaissance Mumbai gives them a platform to showcase their talent and be able to share their culinary marvels. Some of the dishes they will be preparing include Sungta che Sukhe (dry prawns cooked Konkani Karwari style), Paplet che Hooman (Pomfret fish fry Goan style), and many more.

On this association, Nasir Shaikh, Director of Operations, Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel said, “We are thrilled to be associated with Secret Indian Recipe, as both believe in serving the best of the culinary world. The home chefs will bring alive some long forgotten recipes that the guests are sure to enjoy. We are certain our patrons will relish this new offering.”

Neha Lad Shaw from Secret Indian Recipe said, “We are thankful to Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel for providing such a large platform to our home cooks to showcase their culinary skills. At Secret Indian Recipe, it is our endeavour to encourage home cooks and this will just get us closer to achieving our goal.”
