2016 Will See Farzi Café Go International

Massive Restaurants is all set to launch the critically acclaimed Indian bistro in Dubai

Zorawar Kalra, the founder of Massive Restaurants, is a well known name in the Indian culinary scene. His vision to place Indian Blood orange and grapefruit spaghetticuisine on the global palate had seen Massive Restaurants collaborate with Crossroad Hospitality LLC earlier this year. Early next year, they will introduce Farzi Café, the multi-award winning and genre defining concept, to the Middle East in the form of a modern Bistro. The bistro will be located at City Walk Phase 2 on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.

Though ‘Farzi’ can have numerous connotations, at Farzi Café, it has just one, ‘creating an illusion’ with its food. Any experience at Farzi is full of unique flavors, textures and combinations, and with the new Dubai menu, guests will experience Arabic influenced global cuisine in a never-before-seen way. Speaking on the forthcoming launch, Zorawar Kalra, Founder & Managing Director, Massive Restaurants Pvt. Ltd. (India) said, “Farzi Café is a modern Spice Bistro which has undergone extensive research & development and incorporates cutting edge cooking techniques, such as molecular gastronomy and creative culinary art to craft a one of its kind experience that imbibes all your five senses.”

With Zorawar Kalra as the central figure, the Bistro also incorporates prolific works by Jiggs Kalra, the Mentor and Culinary Director at Massive Restaurants and the one who is singlehandedly responsible for creating some of the top restaurants in India over the past several decades.
